The Lakin Prep softball team followed up its championship season last year by going undefeated this year in the regular season. With playoffs starting, they have eyes on repeating last year’s success and completing a perfect season, earning another banner for Lakin Prep.

Tres Rios Service Academy recently held its annual field day. With fun indoor and outdoor activities to keep students and staff active, no one even realized it was a cloudy day.

Preschoolers at Country Place Leadership Academy recently took a field trip to the school garden. They were excited to pull their own carrots and green beans. They also spotted butterflies on the broccoli flowers. Up next for these Mustang minis: planting zucchini seeds.

Seventh-grade students at Collier Business Academy are putting their financial literacy skills into action at JA Financial Park. Students are exploring real-world money management by creating budgets, making financial decisions, and learning how everyday choices impact their future. This hands-on experience helps students understand saving, spending, and planning responsibly while building skills they will use for life.

Quentin’s Science & Engineering Fair was a hit! Students teamed up with another grade level to explore projects around the school, ask questions, and learn from each other. It was amazing to see collaboration, creativity, and excitement for learning filling our halls. We are so proud of our students for sharing their thoughts and supporting each other.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre returned to Freeman Fine Arts Academy to work with the students on their newest production, “Alice in Wonderland.” In one short week, they created a wonderful production that students and staff alike will be talking about for many years to come.

Recently, these outstanding students were officially welcomed as members of the National Junior Honor Society. We’re so proud of their hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence. We look forward to showing even more about this great program in the future.

At the January governing board Meeting, the VFW presented four teachers with VFW Teacher of the Year Awards. These teachers were recognized for being exemplary educators with a focus on civic responsibility. We are very proud of them.
